This board is for discussion of Classical Writing - Poetry. CW - Poetry is a supplementary writing curriculum, which teaches writing through poetry. It is not part of the standard CW series, but it comes highly recommended as a book to go through 12 weeks out of every school year to expose your student to the art of poetry.

After completing Poetry for Beginners, we recommend you continue your writing education through poetry 12 weeks per year with this intermediate book, which focuses on Romantic Poetry and Old English Poetry.

The advanced poetry is currently in its alpha testing stages. It should be out and ready for beta testing at a reduced price for customers who would like to study this material next summer.

This book focuses on Great Books Poetry (both reading and analysis) and Sonnets in particular. It is a book for high schoolers and it completes our poetry series.
